Why we're making Clusterfudge Reports free forever

At Clusterfudge, we've decided to make our GPU reporting tool, Clusterfudge Reports, free forever.

No freemium plan. No trial period. Just free.

We did this because we think every AI team should have access to good infrastructure reporting. Right now, many teams are flying blind when it comes to understanding how their GPUs are being used. That's a problem. These resources are expensive. Misuse adds up fast and without clear data, it's hard to make good decisions about what to invest in next.

Clusterfudge Reports gives you visibility into your GPU usage. It shows you who's using what, when, and how efficiently. You can track usage over time, break it down by team or project, and see metrics like GPU occupancy and not just utilisation. Occupancy tells you whether your GPUs are sitting idle or actually doing work. That kind of insight matters.

• An AI agent company set up Clusterfudge Reports and very quickly realised that they were under utilising their GPUs. They had an idea, but without clear metrics they didn't know who, where or how to improve. With the insights, they were able to quickly ramp up utilisation.
• A research lab was unaware that researchers were regularly requesting more GPUs than their experiments required. Clusterfudge Reports quickly revealed that this GPU over-allocation resulted in their clusters operating at significantly less than maximum capacity.

Why free?

We could have charged for it. Infrastructure tools are a growing market. But we didn't want cost to be a barrier. Especially not for smaller teams doing important work.

Giving Clusterfudge Reports away is our way of contributing to the AI community. We hope it helps teams move faster by spending less time managing infrastructure and more time solving real problems.

We're still building other parts of the Clusterfudge platform. Those might be paid. But Reports will stay free. We want this to be the baseline for GPU visibility across the industry.
